Black Seed Oil Standardized to 5% Thymoquinone
Black seed oil comes from the seeds of Nigella sativa, also known as black cumin, kalonji, or habbatus sauda. It has a long history of traditional use across the Middle East, South Asia, and North Africa.
Thymoquinone (TQ) is a naturally occurring compound in black seed oil and the one most often used to standardize it. Our oil is standardized to 5% TQ, so each serving provides a measured 35 mg. Both numbers are printed on the Supplement Facts panel.
350 mg DHA From Algae, Not Fish
DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid. Fish get their DHA from microalgae through the food chain. This formula goes straight to the source, using algal oil from Schizochytrium sp. The DHA is supplied in triglyceride form.
Two Oils, One Daily Serving
Instead of buying black seed oil and a DHA supplement separately, you get both in two softgels a day, taken with a meal.
How to Use
Adults: take two (2) softgels per day with a meal, or as recommended by your healthcare professional. Do not exceed the suggested use.
Ingredients
Black cumin seed oil, algal oil, gelatin (bovine), organic flaxseed oil, sunflower seed oil, glycerin, purified water, borage oil.
Not vegetarian or vegan: the DHA is from algae, but the softgel is made with bovine gelatin.
